Thirty years after Zinedine Zidane first signed with adidas, one of football's great player-and-boot relationships gets another chapter. The adidas Predator Elite Tongue x Zidane FG takes the familiar Predator 26 and gives it a Zizou finish for 2026. White covers almost the whole boot, metallic gold picks out the details, the French Tricolore runs through the Three Stripes and references to Zidane's career sit across the tongue and heel. What a way to celebrate 30 years together.

The design is deeply personal. A large "30" sits on the tongue, while "ZI30U" folds the number into the Zizou nickname. The Three Stripes carry the French connection, adding blue and red against the white upper for a neat bleu, blanc, rouge finish. The heel goes back to Glasgow in 2002, with a graphic picking out Zidane's iconic Champions League final volley. The fold-over tongue also features Zidane's personal gold logo, stylised from that same immortal strike. On the underside, elastic straps tell a story in two parts: the right boot highlights the cities that defined his professional career — Cannes, Bordeaux, Turin and Madrid — while the left boot anchors the story in his roots, honouring La Castellane, Saint Henri and Septèmes. Lenticular Three Stripes alternate between the adidas logo and "ZZ" lettering, with custom "ZZ30" branding marking the three-decade milestone.

The presentation is premium, arriving in gold packaging with a note from Zidane inside. This gives the release the feel of a proper signature edition rather than simply another colour change late in the Predator 26 cycle. The boot features Nanostrike+ grip elements across the upper for precision striking in dry or wet conditions, the Strikeframe outsole for dynamic traction on firm ground, and Powerspine midfoot stability for stronger strikes.
